Sweet Chili Jerk Wings
Ingredients:
- 2-2.5 lbs Whole Chicken Wings
- 1-2 Tablespoon Olive Oil
- Salt
- Pepper
Jerk Marinade
- 2 Tablespoons Jerk Seasoning (wet or dry, I used Walkerswood Mild)
- 1 Tablespoons Soy Sauce
- 1 Tablespoons Brown Sugar
- 1 Tablespoons Garlic Powder
- ` lime (juiced)
- 1/2 Tablespoons Smoked Paprika
Sweet Chili Pinapple Glaze
- 1/2 cup Sweet Chili Sauce
- 1/2 cup Pineapple Juice
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 tsp Jerk Seasoning
- 1 tsp Hot sauce
Ingredients are subject to availability at local stores. Unavailable items will be automatically substituted at best-effort.
- Marinate Wings
Pat wings dry. Toss with olive oil + all-purpose seasoning.
Mix jerk marinade ingredients and coat wings.
Marinate at least 1 hour or overnight. - Cook Wings
Oven: Bake at 400°F for 35–40 min (flip halfway).
Grill: Medium-high heat, turn every 5–7 min for ~20 min. - Make Glaze
Simmer all glaze ingredients in a small saucepan for 3–4 min until slightly thickened. - Glaze & Finish
Toss cooked wings in warm glaze.
Optional: Broil for 1–2 min for caramelized edges.
Garnish with green onions or sesame seeds.
I paired the wings with coconut rice and strings beans.
