Strawberry Tres Leches
Ingredients:
Cake
- 1 Boxed Strawberry Cake Mixrnrn
- Eggs (amount on box)
- Oil (amount on Box)
- milk (use the same amount of water on box)
- 1 Teaspoon Vanilla Extract
- 1 12oz Evaporated Milk
- 1 cup strawberry milk
Topping
- 2 cups heavy whipping cream
- 1/4 cup powder sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 cups fresh strawberry sliced
Bake the cake:

Preheat the oven to 350°F. Following the instructions for the boxed cake mix and add vanilla extract to the batter, baking in a 9×13-inch pan.

Let the cake cool for 15 minutes.
Poke and soak:

Poke holes all over the cake with a fork or skewer.

Whisk together evaporated milk, condensed milk, and strawberry milk until smooth. Slowly pour the milk mixture over the cake, letting it soak in evenly.
Chill:

Cover the cake and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
Make the whipped cream:

Beat the heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until stiff peaks form. Spread the mixture evenly over the chilled cake.
Finish with strawberries:

Layer the sliced strawberries over the cake. You can remove the stems and slice the strawberries in half or slices into a few pieces per strawberry and layer them over the cake.

Chill the cake in the fridge until you’re ready to serve.
