Salt and Pepper Shrimp

These Salt and Pepper Shrimp are crispy, buttery, and loaded with bold flavor. Tossed in a homemade Creole spice mix, fried until golden, and finished with shallots, jalapeños, and garlic—this dish brings serious Southern heat.
Ingredients:
Directions
- Devein the shrimp and cut off the front of the head, if attached.
- In a bowl, mix together cornstarch and Creole seasoning.
- Coat the shrimp in the Cajun flip n fry batter.
- Heat oil in a skillet and fry the shrimp until crispy. Set aside.
- In a small bowl, combine salt, chicken bouillon, pepper, and sugar. Set aside.
- Add butter to the pan and sauté shallots and jalapeños until fragrant.
- Add garlic and the fried shrimp to the pan.
- Season to taste with the salt and pepper mix, toss to coat, and serve hot.
