Ingredients:

1 tsp matcha green tea powder (culinary or ceremonial grade)

2 oz hot water (not boiling; ~175°F / 80°C)

6 oz unsweetened almond milk (or sweetened, to taste)

Sweetener to taste (optional: honey, maple syrup, or stevia)

Ice cubes (optional, for iced version)
Equipment:

Small bowl

Bamboo whisk (chasen) or handheld milk frother

Small pot or microwave-safe container

Instructions:

Sift & Whisk Matcha:
Sift 1 tsp of matcha into a small bowl to remove clumps.
Add 2 oz of hot water. Whisk vigorously in a zigzag motion until frothy. -
Heat or Froth Almond Milk:

Hot version: Warm almond milk in a pot or microwave. Do not boil.

Iced version: Use cold almond milk.
Optional: Froth the milk for a creamy texture.
