These Grilled Lobster Tails with Cajun Butter are bursting with flavor, smoky char, and buttery spice. A perfect seafood centerpiece that’s easy enough for weeknight grilling and impressive enough for any summer gathering.
Ingredients:
Lobster Tails
Cajun Butter
Directions
- Use kitchen shears to cut the lobster tails down the center of the shell, then use a knife to slice into the meat without cutting all the way through.
- Carefully separate the meat from the shell and lift it slightly so it sits on top of the shell.
- Drizzle with olive oil and season the meat generously with salt, pepper, and Cajun seasoning.
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
- Place the lobster tails meat side down directly on the grill and cook for about 4–5 minutes to achieve a nice char.
- Flip the tails shell side down and place a piece of foil underneath to prevent flare-ups.
- In a small saucepan, melt butter over low heat and stir in minced garlic, parsley, Old Bay seasoning, and more Cajun seasoning to make the Cajun butter.
- Baste the lobster tails generously with the Cajun butter and continue grilling for another 4–6 minutes, or until the meat is opaque and cooked through.
- Serve hot, drizzled with any extra Cajun butter and garnished with chopped parsley if desired.
