Airfryer Buffalo Cauliflower
Ingredients:
- 1 Medium Head Cauliflower
- 3/4 cup Cauliflower
- 1/2 cup All Purpose Flour
- 1/2 cup water or milk
- 1 Tsp Garlic Powder
- 1/2 Tsp Paprika
- 1/2 Tsp Salt
- 1/2 Tsp Black Pepper
- 1/2 Olive Oil Spray
Buffalo Sauce
- 1/2 Cup Hot Sauce
- 2 Tbsp Melted Butter (or vegan Butter)
- 1 Tsp Honey or Agave (Optional for balance)
1. Preheat air fryer to 375°F for 3-5 minutes.
2. Make the batter:
In a large bowl, whisk together flour, water, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper until smooth.
3. Coat the cauliflower:
Toss the florets in the batter until fully coated. Let excess drip off. Lightly spray air fryer basket with oil and add florets in a single layer (you may need to work in batches).
4. Air fry (first round):
Cook for 12-15 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and starting to crisp.
5. Toss in buffalo sauce:
In a bowl, mix hot sauce, melted butter, and honey/agave.
Toss the cooked cauliflower in the sauce gently to coat.
6. Air fry again (for crispiness):
Return sauced cauliflower to the air fryer and cook another 5-7 minutes at 400°F to crisp up the coating. Add your favorite dipping sauce and Enjoy!
