Ingredients
- 3 lbs beef short ribs
- ½ cup soy sauce
- ⅓ cup honey
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
- 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon chili flakes (optional)

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 325°F (160°C).
- In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, minced garlic, grated ginger, rice vinegar, sesame oil, black pepper, and chili flakes if using.
- Place the beef ribs in a baking dish or roasting pan and pour the marinade over them. Make sure ribs are well coated.
- Cover tightly with aluminum foil and roast in the oven for 2.5 to 3 hours, until the meat is tender and almost falling off the bone.
- Remove ribs from oven, uncover, and baste with the pan juices. For a sticky glaze, increase oven temperature to 425°F (220°C) and roast uncovered for an additional 10–15 minutes.
- Remove from oven and let ribs rest for 5 minutes before serving.
