Directions
- Cut a loaf of Italian bread in half lengthwise. Remove as much bread from the center as you can to create a boat for the fillings.
- Mix 3 tbsp melted butter with mixed garlic. Brush the garlic butter all over the inside of both bread halves.
- Place a layer of sliced mozzarella cheese on one side of the bread. Bake at 400°F for 5-7 minutes until the bread is slightly crispy and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Spread garlic aioli on the other side of the bread, along with a generous amount of spicy red sandwich spread.
- Layer on pickle chips and a pile of arugula.
- Add the meats: turkey, sopressata, capicola, prosciutto, and salami.
- Carefully close the sandwich and press down gently. Slice it into portions.
- Wrap the sandwich tightly in parchment paper or foil and let it rest for 5 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
- Unwrap, serve, and enjoy!
