30-Minute Sheet-Pan Chicken Fajitas

October 14, 2026

When I want fajitas without standing over the stove, I put everything on one sheet pan and let the oven do the work. These chicken fajitas bring together tender chicken, colorful bell peppers, onions, and plenty of seasoning. Add a squeeze of lime, then load everything into tortillas with queso and salsa for a meal that’s big on flavor without a complicated cleanup.

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 450°F.
  2. Slice the onion and the green, yellow, and red bell peppers. Cut the chicken tenders into pieces.
  3. Arrange the chicken and vegetables on a large sheet pan.
  4. Drizzle with olive oil and season with salt, black pepper, oregano, garlic powder, chili seasoning, and ground cumin. Add the lime and toss everything together to coat evenly.
  5. Bake for approximately 25 minutes, until the vegetables are tender and the chicken is fully cooked. The chicken should reach an internal temperature of 165°F.
  6. Serve the chicken and vegetables in tortillas with queso and salsa, or portion them for meal prep.

My Tip:
Spread the chicken and peppers out across the sheet pan rather than piling them up. That gives everything more room to roast instead of steam.
