Instructions
Prep the chicken: Pat 4 chicken thighs dry with paper towels. If using chicken breasts, slice into even thickness. Using a meat injector or small knife, inject each piece with 3 tbsp Tony’s Butter & Jalapeño Marinade, distributing evenly.
Season thoroughly: Rub chicken all over with ½ cup Tony’s Creole-Style Seafood Marinade. In a small bowl, mix 2 tbsp Tony’s More Spice Seasoning with 1 packet Sazón. Coat chicken evenly with this spice mixture. Drizzle with 2 tbsp olive oil and let rest 20-30 minutes.
Prep green beans: While chicken rests, trim ends from 1 lb fresh green beans. Toss with 1 tbsp olive oil and 1 tbsp Tony’s Bold Creole Seasoning. Set aside.
Oven method: Preheat oven to 400°F. Line a baking sheet with foil. Place seasoned chicken on one side and seasoned green beans on the other. Roast for 35-40 minutes, until chicken reaches 165°F internally and green beans are tender-crisp. Baste chicken with pan juices halfway through.
Stovetop alternative: If using stovetop, heat 1 tbsp oil in large skillet over medium-high. Cook chicken 6-7 minutes per side until cooked through. Remove chicken, add green beans to same pan with ¼ cup water, cover and steam 5-7 minutes until tender.
Serve: Let chicken rest 5 minutes before serving. Garnish with chopped parsley or green onions if available. Serve chicken with the flavorful green beans alongside rice or crusty bread to soak up juices.
